You're Invited to Refresh, Revive, Renew

Join MyDenver on September 10 for an evening of interior inspiration, emerging trends and expert advice from Howard Lorton’s interior designers.

by MyDenver Staff

If you’ve never set foot in Howard Lorton’s iconic building across from the Denver Art Museum, mark your calendar for September 10, when the storied furniture emporium will present “Refresh, Revive, Renew,” a special event in collaboration with MyDenver Magazine.

Showcasing the season’s emerging trends across a series of curated vignettes, the evening is also a chance to connect with Denver’s design community and celebrate Howard Lorton’s history as the Mile High City’s leading purveyor of high-end, heirloom-quality home furnishings. “This is our 99th year in business,” says Margot Cook, VP of Howard Lorton, “and while our commitment to service hasn't changed, the products that we offer have evolved alongside the industry.”

Refresh, Revive, Renew: Inside Howard Lorton's Guide to Reimagining Your Space

Howard Lorton’s team of interior designers will be in attendance, offering tips and inspiration for everything from a simple style upgrade to total transformations. “Refresh, Revive, Renew” is an invitation to experience an immersive mood board, allowing guests to explore the design world’s current obsessions and discover more about their own tastes in the process. Whether you gravitate towards all things mid-century modern or prefer more of a chic Alpine chalet vibe, Howard Lorton’s curated roster of designers encompasses the entire spectrum, from the traditional to the ultra-contemporary.

Envisioning familiar rooms with new statement pieces can be challenging, so Howard Lorton also offers complimentary in-home design consultations. The best place to start, however, is on-site at their store, where you can browse the latest designs from premier brands such as Hancock and Moore, known for luxury handcrafted leather furniture, Taylor King, and Stressless, which offers completely customizable Scandinavian recliners. No matter your budget, you can find extraordinary, tailored design solutions at Howard Lorton that marry form and function.

Aesthetic tastes generally shift over a five- to seven-year cycle, so it’s natural to suddenly feel like your interiors no longer reflect your style or personality, or the current zeitgeist. If you’re already working with an interior designer, Howard Lorton is a proven resource and offers a trade program to both facilitate and incentivize creative collaboration. Refreshing your space doesn’t just update your decor; it serves as a reminder of your personal growth, which is always something to celebrate.
